We stand behind everything we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information.

Sorry, but we do not ship outside of the Continental U.S., and do not ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

In-Store Pickup

Most orders will be ready within one business day. We are happy to accommodate quicker pickup times if you would kindly call us by phone to confirm the order prior to picking it up. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 10 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.

Information Security

We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.


Occasionally, some items are unexpectedly out of stock or unavailable and may be backordered. If this should occur, we will only bill your credit card for merchandise that is actually shipped. The total shipping charge for orders split into multiple shipments will not exceed the amount quoted on original order.


All of us at The Bike Rack want you to have the proper gear to make the most of your cycling experience.  Our Satisfaction Guarantee ensures just that.  We will exchange any item or refund your purchase within 30 days of the original purchase.  Some restrictions apply.*

  • Time: You have 30 days from purchase to request a refund.
  • Method of Refund: Refund will be applied to the original form of payment.
  • Product Condition: Product must be new or like new condition in order to return.
  • Refund Contact Info: Contact the store at which you purchased the item about a refund. You can find store hours, addresses, email and phone numbers on our Store Locator page.
  • Charges: Customer is responsible for any shipping costs related to the return.

In-Store Purchase 
In-store purchases can be returned or exchanged at either our Omaha or Lincoln locations. Items purchased with Bike Rack Gift Certificates can be exchanged or returned for store credit. Without a receipt, an item with original tags and packaging intact can be returned to The Bike Rack Store where it was originally purchased for an exchange or store credit. Online Purchase
All items purchased online that are being returned must have a Return Authorization Number (RA#) provided by The Bike Rack.  Please call 402-333-1031 and ask for Shane or email for your return authorization.

No Hassle Return Policy
We can accept a return on any product as long as it’s still in new condition in the original packaging with the original tags still attached. Once a product is installed or used we are unable to take it back unless it’s due to a defect.  Defective merchandise will be replaced with identical non-defective merchandise.  If you need to make a return please contact us prior to returning the item so we can set up a RA number for you. This way we can process your return in less time when you send it back to us.

We are more than happy to accept exchanges; however, we find it faster if you make a new purchase for the item(s) you want and then return the original order for a full refund. This saves time as we do not have to wait to receive the returned item before sending out the new one. Whichever way you'd like to handle it, we'll gladly accommodate.

Defective/Damage Returns
If you received a product that was damaged or defective we can replace it for you and cover shipping both ways so you don’t have to pay a thing. Feel free to give us a call or send us an email so we can set up a RA account for you. We will then email you a pre-paid return label you can print out and stick on the box to ship the item back free of charge. Once we are notified by FedEx that the item is on the way back to us, we can get a replacement one out right away.

*Returns, refunds and exchanges up to 30 days only with a receipt.  All sales final on bikes, trikes, wheels, spokes, tools and car racks. All special orders are a final sale. If being purchased as a gift, exchange may be allowed. Call store for details.
